La Maison de l'Abeille is situated in the small Village of La Chaume, surrounded by forests and rolling farmland. The village is typical of this part of the Cote D'or, stone houses, 13th Century church and has a nice bar to enjoy a drink sat next to the stream that runs through the bottom of La Chaume. 
Set in the heart of so much countryside it is possible to enjoy walking, cycling, and the peace and quiet in our immediate area. Walk out of the Gite door and there are several varied walks, including a lovely walk to the next village and back, so you don't need to use the car to enjoy your holiday!
